"LA Jazz Nights" at  the Garden of Eden Nightclub

Top Smooth Jazz Recording Artists and Smooth Jazz Enthusiasts Now Have a Swanky New Home in Los Angeles Every Wednesday Night!

Smooth Jazz Radio Station KTWV, 94.7 "The Wave," is launching a new partnership with LA's hottest nightclub, The Garden of Eden, for "LA Jazz Nights" presented by The Southern California Lincoln Dealers.

LA Jazz Nights at The Garden of Eden will be hosted each Wednesday night by Smooth Jazz, 94.7 The Wave and The Southern California Lincoln Dealers. The partnership will bring the top names in Smooth Jazz to one of Hollywood's most exclusive nightspots.

94.7 The Wave, the radio station largely credited as the pioneer of the Smooth Jazz format, has found the perfect venue to spotlight its artists. The Wave is known for premiering up-and-coming acts on air and this new partnership allows listeners to experience that exciting new music live. "Southern Californians are such enthusiastic supporters of this music," says Wave program director Christine Brodie, "and now they have the opportunity to experience the very best of The Wave's menu of music in an absolutely awesome venue every Wednesday."

Inspired by the exotic richness of Morocco, The Garden of Eden stands as a monument to creative vision, authenticity and culinary artistry. This 10,000 sq. ft, $2 million restaurant and nightclub located in the heart of old Hollywood, is the brainchild of South African ex-patriot David Judaken, and creatively masterminded by award-winning designer Margaret O'Brien. Judaken says, "This opportunity was brought to me through Bill Ganz with LA Jazz Nights. We are very excited to be part of the launch of Smooth Jazz in the heart of Hollywood and are confident that this will be an enormous success never previously attempted. Hollywood is the music capital of the world and we are pleased to bring Smooth Jazz to the forefront of live weekly entertainment."

The Garden of Eden has hosted parties for President Clinton, all the major television networks and nearly every movie studio in Hollywood. When Hugh Hefner leaves his mansion for a night out, it is likely he is heading to The Garden of Eden. Ed Witt of The Southern California Lincoln Mercury Dealers says, "The sponsorship with The Wave and The Garden of Eden provides a strong opportunity to directly connect to our Lincoln audience and promote the launch for the 2003 Lincoln Navigator."

Greg Schoenbaum, Director of Sales Marketing and Promotion for Smooth Jazz, 94.7 The Wave says, "LA Jazz Nights at The Garden of Eden will now provide Southern Californian's an exquisite and truly unique Smooth Jazz platform that has not existed in Los Angeles-perhaps ever" He went on to say, "And we're extremely proud to have had the visionary partners like Lincoln, The Garden of Eden, and Bill Ganz with LA Jazz Nights to build a weekly lifestyle destination that will fill a huge market void". Scottland Concerts will arrange weekly talent.
